We are expanding our program in Southern California and have a number of employment opportunities in several geographic areas. If you are interested in joining our experienced and professional team, we have a minimum set of requirements for a clinical position with our agency.
Minimum Qualifications
California State license as a mental health professional (Clinical Psychologist, LCSW, LMFT).
CA Sex Offender Management Board Certification at the Apprentice, Associate or Independent Level; Uncertified applicants may be considered if they meet the qualifications to become certified, see www.casomb.org for more details.
Must be able to pass background checks, willing to take a CA live scan, and annual tuberculosis test.
Knowledge, Relevant Skills and Abilities
The ideal candidate will have training and experience in Forensic Psychology and some experience working with sex offenders in an evidence-based treatment program (SOTP). A commitment to ending sexual violence, and ability to work collaboratively on a high performance team of similarly dedicated professionals are important attributes for successful candidates. Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and flexibility and focus are critical skills for this work environment. Must be able to demonstrate competency in providing group and individual psychotherapy sessions, facilitate a curriculum based treatment program, and experience in administration and interpretation of psychological testing along with proficiency in diagnosis, assessments, and treatment plan development and updating.

Job Description
Anew Therapeutic Services, Inc. is a forensic behavioral health agency providing treatment and management to clients on probation in Southern CA. If you are interested in working in the field of criminal justice this entry level position is an excellent introduction.
We are looking for a responsible, bi-lingual Spanish Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. Duties of the bi-lingual Spanish Receptionist/Administrative include providing support to our managers and employees, assisting in daily office needs and managing our company’s general administrative activities.
Bi-lingual Spanish Receptionist/Administrative Assistant responsibilities include fielding all incoming calls, scheduling clients, Data Entry, tracking services scheduled, making travel and meeting arrangements, preparing reports, and maintaining appropriate filing systems. The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to organize their work using tools, like MS Excel and office equipment. If you also have previous experience as a Secretary or Executive administrative assistant and familiarity within the field of criminal justice, we’d like to meet you.
Ultimately, a successful Receptionist/Administrative Assistant should ensure the efficient and smooth day-to-day operation of our office.
Responsibilities
Answer and direct phone calls
Organize and schedule appointments
Plan meetings and take detailed minutes
Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
Maintain a filing system
Maintain office policies and procedures
Maintain contact lists
Submit and reconcile expense reports
Provide general support to visitors
Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients
Requirements
Proven experience as an administrative assistant, or office admin assistant
Bi-lingual Spanish
Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines
Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint)
Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
High School degree; additional qualification as an Administrative assistant or Secretary will be a plus

Beginning Pay scale: $17.00 to $20.00 /hour
